On the week-end of June 4th 2004 our Venturer group went to Camp Carter to assist with the Annual Cuberee. There was also a Beaveree on Saturday , so we combine with the Venturer Cmpany from Sydney the 13th in helping with the activities. We arrive Friday evening and help the Cub Packs put up there tents in the big field. After that we unpacked our gear and chilled out at the MacLean building where both Venturer Groups were staying. On Saturday morning after Opening we set up 4 outdoor skill stations and in the afternoon we set up 4 "Fun" activities. Since the Cub Packs were eating thier meals at the Maclean Building we also helped setting up the tables and cleaning up after the meals. Before supper we cut wood for the campfire and that evening Robert was the Campfire Chief. On Sunday morning we particapted in the Scouts Owe and then cleaned up the Maclean B uilding before having our Closing Horseshoe around one. It was an extremely busy camp but everything went well.
