In November of 2003 some of our Venturer Members signed up for the Duke of Edinburgh Program. On Friday Nov.3, 2005 Chris and Josh as part of a group of 20 young Nova Scotians received their Silver Award Certificate, the Silver Duke of Edinburgh Pin and the Lieutenant Governor Gold Crown Lapel Pin at Government House in Halifax from The Honourable Myra A. Freeman, Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia and Mr. Don Todd, President, Nova Scotia Council Duke Of Edinburgh's Young Canadian Challenge. There was also 1 Gold Award Achiever Gold Pin Presentation at this ceremony. Congratulation to all on a job "Well Done". John and Grant have completed their Bronze Level.
